Overview

The project merges the files of both games into a self-contained folder: Fallout 3's quests, New Vegas's weapons, and hardcore mode coexist without ever touching the original installations. The PlayPadHub zip provides the French guide and shortcuts to the official downloads, with no game files.

What the merge adds

  • The Fallout 3 and New Vegas campaigns in a single playthrough
  • A single hero who moves from the Capital Wasteland to the Mojave
  • The weapons and items of both games in the same inventories
  • The New Vegas improvements applied to Fallout 3
  • A separate fusion folder: both originals remain untouched

Our tips

  • Install in a dedicated folder, away from Steam folders, so nothing gets overwritten by a file verification.
  • Save your game before each project update: old saves rarely make it through unscathed.
  • Follow Fallout 3's main quests first, then head to New Vegas: that's the order the fusion intends.

Security and legality

The project installs everything in a separate folder: Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are not modified. Keep a copy of your saves before each update, and play solo. Only download this project from Tale of Two Wastelands and keep a copy of your saves. PlayPadHub is not affiliated with any publisher or mod author. The mentioned brands belong to their owners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to own both games?

Yes. The installer requires legitimate Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas: it reads their files to copy them, never modifying them.

Where are my saves stored?

In a folder distinct from Fallout 3's and New Vegas's. Make a copy before each project update.

Is the project free?

Yes, entirely. Everything downloads from the official site, no account or payment. Only the two original games cost money.
