This policy describes what data is collected, why, and how you can exercise your rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirements of partner platforms (notably Epic Games, Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox, and Nintendo).
2. Collected Data
We only collect data strictly necessary for the operation of the service:

When you sign in via Google, we only retrieve your email address, public name, and profile avatar.
3. Integration of third-party services and Epic Games Account Services
PlayPadHub lets users optionally link their account Epic Games via Epic Games' official authentication services (OAuth 2.0 / Epic Account Services):
- Data collected via Epic Games: Pseudonyme public Epic Games (
display_name) et identifiant de compte unique Epic (account_id). - Finalité : Bringing together and displaying the games owned by the user in their personal PlayPadHub library.
- Sécurité des jetons : Epic Games access tokens are temporary, kept only in RAM for the active session and are never stored permanently in the database ni cédés ou vendus.
- Sign-out and deletion: You can disconnect your Epic Games account at any time from your PlayPadHub profile, or revoke granted permissions directly from your Epic Games account management page (Epic Games Connections). Signing out immediately removes the link.
- Absence d'affiliation : PlayPadHub is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Epic Games, Inc.
4. Legal basis of processing
- Exécution du contrat : the operation of the account and service relies on acceptance of the Terms of Service.
- Consentement : acceptance of legal documents is tracked and recorded.

5. Data retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleting your account (available directly in the app) results in the immediate and permanent deletion of your personal data, except for archived data required for legal obligations (consent tracking).
6. Sharing and transfer of data
We never sell, rent, or commercialize your personal data. Some data may be transmitted to technical hosting and infrastructure providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service, located within the European Union or compliant with GDPR standard contractual clauses.
Your public profile (display name, avatar, public library, reviews, top 3) is visible to other members of the PlayPadHub community.
7. Cookies et stockage local
PlayPadHub uses an encrypted session cookie (strictly necessary for authentication) and your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your interface preferences. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are used.
8. Exercising your rights and contacting the delegate
In accordance with the GDPR and applicable privacy legislation, you have the following rights:
- Right of access and information: obtain confirmation that data concerning you is processed and receive a copy of it.

- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): request the full deletion of your account and all associated data.

9. Sécurité des données
Passwords are protected by strong cryptographic hashing (bcrypt). All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted via the TLS/HTTPS protocol. Database access is strictly restricted and audited.
10. Changes to the privacy policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical developments. In case of substantial change, a notification will be displayed in the app and a new acceptance will be requested.
